I had a chance to get back to my park for awhile Sun pm. I had found a nice dime trifecta there Fri pm and they all came from the same general area. I figured I'd start out where I left off and in about 20 min I got a nice, but weak silver type signal. It was just a few feet from where I found the seated dime Fri pm.
It was elusive, but out pops a very well-worn 1/2 reale. So tiny - I was hoping it was a half dime, but I'll take it! Been a couple years since my last 1/2 reale.
Two summers ago I managed to find a 1/2 reale 3 months in a row - my hunting buddy was ready to hit me over the head with my own Minelab!!
It's VERY worn but I can barely make out a date of 1806 and on the reverse the bottom left part of the crest is visible.
My finds this hunt:
5 wheats (incl 1919D)
2 IH - 1889, 1909
1/2 reale - 1806
Thanks for sharing.
