Spaghetti for Thanksgiving...

Bavaria Mike

New member
This time last year, Bill Ladd, myself and a few others were having spaghetti for Thanksgiving dinner in England. Kinda tasted like Turkey, LOL! Wish I was having Spaghetti in England again. HH, Mike

Hey Mike ,I am snowed out here !For the birds.Just wondering what type of finds you all found in England?HH

My better finds were a silver hammered 1572 Elizabeth 1st 2 pence, a silver thimble, two silver coins dated late 1600s and one is bent into a love token, 2 poor condition Roman coins and a small handful of green coins. Bill found a 1200 BC bronze axe head and several choice coins. HH, Mike

Sounds like an amazing trip!! I spent two weeks in Fairford England and hunted around the base but it had been hunted out by the locals.I still made a few finds but nothing like you all. Good stuff!HH

I'll be in your "neighborhood" next Friday. I have a layover in Frankfurt for about 6 hours. I wish I was gonna get out of the airport! I won't get to do any detecting on this trip. I don't think they would be very "understanding" about me detecting in Moldova!
