Soverign GT vs DFS

I currently have an old Garrett AT4 for the beach and a Garrett 2500 for land and the tide lines.

I am looking for a new machine for land and wading. I was thinking of the Whites DFX.
Most of my hunting is going to be Schools and Parks with an occaisonal trip to a fresh water swimming hole, and sometimes to the New England salt water beaches and Cape Cod.

Any thoughts.

Hi i have a DFX it works great with its Different tones, i just bought a Soverign Gt its tones are just about the same sound. A Quarter and a dime and penny sound the same on my Soverign GT, The nickel sounds just a little lower tone on the GT. My DFX has better tone ids I think. I went out today with my Soverign Gt found a Quarter. If you can get to a Whites Store they would show you how the DFX works with its controls.

Just put my DFX package up for sale on the classifieds, if your interested.
