Is your threshold switch on silent search by chance?

I dont think you will find a scematic of any of the Minelab detectors as they are a trade secret so they can be coppied. You may find some pictures of the curcuit board and such with many of the IC that have the idenitfy number ground off as most dont want you to know what they are using.
Now the first thing we need to know is other than no threshold do you hear a noise when it is turned on?? or a good target run by the coil If not then do you have a good battery in it and is it making good contract as some have a problem with the battery and the conections where it connect. So if you have a alkaline pack make sure you have good fresh batteries in it. If you have the rechargeable one make sure it is fully charged. If it still wont work have you tried the headphones as maybe the speaker is bad or the headphone jack is bad so it may only work with the headphones.
If the battery is good and there is no signal when turned on and all connections are good and wont work with headphones either then I would say it will have to go to Minelab repair to have it check out.

Good Luck and hope it is something simple to fix.

Rick
