Soverign elite relic hunting

How good is the elite in relic hunting? I'm going to give it a try at a couple of cellar holes and I'll be using the 10 in coil for depth.

Id say thats going to depend on the targets you run into. The more trash, nails, copper, brass ect you encounter with that size coil the less depth, more digging, and nulling you may get. That size coil takes in a lot of soil..... and targets. I used to field hunt where old homes had been long gone with an Explorer and it had and advantage of a TID screen even thou i mostly went by tone. It could get frustrating...... especially if you happen to run into an area with hot rocks as well.

However.... that didnt stop me from hunting them. The ones I hunted was from old atlas around 1900. That really reduced the moder trash. Its amazing how much horse stuff u find as well as old coins if you work an area and are willing to dig a lot of stuff out. Reducing sensitivity and a smaller coil helps to separate targets and get ride of the hot rocks. I used to find a lot of old coins in the rear of the house or driveway.

Dew around my area we don't have any cellar holes, hope to get out east one of these times and search one of these sites.
