soverign elite HOW easy is it to use compared to the xs

THAnKS GUYS my brother in law is thinking about one ,but he likes the ease of his garrett gti 1500. so how confusing is the elite ,i also have an xs LOVE IT have it 2 years now and still learn something new each outing TY a fellow THER in wisc
 
The GTI 1500 is easy to use compared to the XS or the Elite, but will not get the deep and coins or those beside trash like the Elite or the XS can and will do.
I find the Sovereign (same as the Elite) has a learning curve to it and some learn it in a day or so while others takes longer depending on how much time you are able to learn it and how well you learn it too. Now the XS is a lot harder in my opinion to learn and many will give up before they get it learned. All you need is a little patience and some time out with it to learn either detector.
