Decided to get the Sovergn GT because of the good reports on it.
Will be taking it to Fl in January and Hawaii in Feb,

It's going to be an experience using it I'm sure!

I sure hope its the last darn detector that I'm going to buy!

Thanks to all that helped me in making my descision,

Larrry

Yes, just stick with it. I kind'a hated my for the first 7 or 8 hunts because of things like getting fooled by screw caps, digging tab tails that I thought were nickles, thinking coin sized targets were much bigger (the machine has such a long drawn out response that what is coin sized on this machine looks like a can sized target on others). Just give it time and it will reward you.

Congrats on your new machine Larry:clap:
As the others say give it time, and you'll be happy you got the GT. I had a Whites M6 before the GT and it wasn't worth a darn on our beaches. When the folks on the forum told of the results they were getting with their GT's I gave my M6 to my son-in-law and got a GT. Best move I ever made. It wasn't long before I found silver and gold. Be patient, and don't be afraid to ask questions on the forum. There's a lot to learn here.
regards
Ed
