Sovereign XS2 Remote Switch Mod

Everyone loves a remote all metal/disc switch. I didn't want to solder my machine so I used nice fine alligator clips instead.

Drill a hole and run a twisted pair to an 1/8" jack.

Solder insulated alligator clips to the other end.

Clip the clips to the AllMetal/Disc switch.

Connect the other end to a switch in some PVC and we're done!

Very low tech, yet fully functional. I'm not a soldering genius so the alligator clip is perfect for me.

BTW I dug a couple of embossed Berkeley pharmacy bottles a few years back that are kinda neat. Wondered if you might, by chance, know anything about them.

One is embossed:

CALDECOTT'S PHARMACY
ASHBY STATION
BERKELEY, CA

The other one is:

Walter H. Farley
PHARMACIST & CHEMIST
BERKELEY, CAL

I can post a couple pics if you're interested.

Cheers,
Steve
