I have a sovereign xs htat I barely used. I want to try it out again. Are there any xs users out there?

Ray,your old Sovereign XS is one of the better models.Look at the thumb nail or first post at the top of this page on the Sovereign models.I have use this Sovereign a lot its a great detector. My suggestion if you don't have a pin pointer get a S-1 probe and a 180 meter will help.Which coil do you have with you XS.Good Luck HH Ron

The XS is one of the best Sovereigns ever made and the one i would want if i didn't have a GT. These come with the 8 inch coinsearch coil which was also the best Minelab 8 inch coil until the new 8 inch Tornado coil came out, but the coinsearch was not waterproof.
I also agree to get a 180 meter and a Sun Ray S1 probe as this make this detector complete as you can see the tones you are hearing and being able to separate those that our ears can tell the difference in and the S-1 probe make recovery so fast so you are on to the next target faster and find more per hunt.

I have a DTI II meter and a Garrett Pro pointer. I think those two will get me going in the right direction.
