sovereign xs 2a pro question

coinscratcher

New member
ui just purchased a sovereign and i notice as your are detecting that you will have a nice some level tone and then all of a sudden it will jump eo a deep tone until i hit another coin or etc. is this normal i had an excalibur that did the same thing.

It is normal. Just like the Excalibur. The threshold changes tone to match the tone ID of a detected target. Sometimes you can miss the slight beep. So if your threshold changes investigate why.

ML uses whats known as PITCH HOLD. It was originally developed for raw gold hunting machine to pick up faint targets that you might otherwise miss. It can be used on the Explorers as well.
