I have a sovereign xs-2 pro it works fine ,but the headphones I use dont seem loud enough .I use black magic headphones .Is there any modification that i can use or do for more volume on the headphones ?

Mike, never used the Black Magic headphones. I use Jolly Rogers, but don't mind the low volume. If you need lots of volume avoid these.I have used cheap headphones from Garrett and Whites and had plenty of volume. My suggestion go with another pair of headphones.Good Luck Ronnnnn

Because I need the extra volume as my hearing is real bad I have tried many different sets trying to find the right set for me. One set works good on the Sovereign, but not very loud on my Explorers and E-Trac and that is where a different set work great on the Explorers and E-Trac, but not for the Sovereigns. For my Sovereign and even though I am very hard of hearing I can hear what others have missed with a set of Timberwolfs and did find a set of the Bushmasters that also works good on the Sovereign and the Explorers. Most of the others I have seen just didn't have enough volume for me on the Sovereigns. The problem with the Timberwolfs is they are no longer being made and some of the later models didn't seem to have as much volume either. The 2 sets I have is a set of the Lobo and the FWM or something like that as I don't have them in front of me right now.
Like I say if you are hard of hearing or need louder headphones the Timberwolfs are the best I have found, but if you have normal hearing or don't need real loud headphones the Sun Ray Pro golds and most all of the ones made by Gray Ghost have been preferred by many.

If Possible see if someone will let you try a different set of headphones on your Sov. You may find a set that work better than the ones that you are using. I use Killer B headphones and for me, even with my lousy hearing, they are as loud as I would want a pair of headphones to be.

I use Garrett,Land headphones and they seem plenty loud enough for me.

What you might consider is getting a battery powered amplifier (booster) for your headphones. They sell them in travel stores and usually have outputs for 2 or more headphones.
