Sovereign XS-2 digital target indicator

I was given this by a friend to use with my Sovereign GT. It came without any directions. Can anyone out there help me with this? Thank you in advance.
 
It goes between the coil and the control box. Plug the coil into the socket on the meter and the plug on the wire into the control box.

Switch on and using a quarter pass it over the coil use the knob at the back of the meter to calibrate, either to 550 or 180 depending on which one it is(probably a 550 unless its been modified) thats it.
in a previous post is a list of the aproximate readigs you should get.
