Sovereign Waterproof Quick Release

Any possibility of making a pigtail (like the one used on Ron's meter) that you can use with the standard plano waterproof box with the cable clams?

One end would go into the plano waterproof box and connect to the Sovereign. The other end would be outside the box through the clam, but here is the hook, it would have to be a waterproof connection to the coil cable. The advantage of this would be that you do not have to loosen the clam every time you wanted to switch to hip mount or put the Sovereign unit back on the shaft. Just disconnect the pigtail on the outside of the waterproof box and also on the inside without touching the clam.

Possible or dreaming??

Of course the next is the same setup for headphones, but getting the coil connection waterproof would be first on the list. Headphone could be wireless.

Anything is possible, you just have to shop around and find what you need, then test it....headphones or a remote pp connections are not as sensitive as the coils connection.

I had Ron make me up a cable extension for my coils. I use a plano box but only go knee deep with the GT. Used a standard cable for the headphones and coil. I can seal the box and plug and play as needed.
