Sovereign tones

Does anyone have a pic of a Sov GT opened up and could show me the pot that adjusts the sovs tone range? Ive got a GT with the Dixie mods that I want to get the tone range down to more like my other sovs.
This is the 2nd or 3rd Sov Ive had with dixie mods and they all have the tone range shifted higher.

Do you think thats part of the mod? Depending on freq targets can be separated by using a higher or lower freq. There are advantages to that. Just like on the DFX using 3 vs 15 kHz will help with gold or coin targets.... depends on the type you are looking for and the conditions.

Hi Dew,

I dont think it has anything to do with the freq but more the pitch sound. Have you ever used a Tejon? Those have a dial on them to adjust the pitch to suit someones hearing, I think it works like that. I have no hearing problems so I can hear the lower tones well enough.
If it in some way effects the mod, I would turn it back to how it was set but I would like to try and find out.
I think someone posted a pic on here that showed the GT opened up with the pot circled but I cant find it. could have been on the mods forum.

If you do decide to adjust, mark the old setting......

Neil,
Just so you know in the future , the circuit board is etched on each trim pot and what it adjusts ..........Look closely on the board ......Jim
