Sovereign Tips Thread/Links

As I come across any links to useful Sovereign tips I'm going to throw them in this thread for people. Maybe this thread will be a good one stop resource for various tips for people to post and/or links to those elsewhere. Here's a nice thread I just ran across on another website that contains a lot of good information, evening covering all the controls on the GT in detail for people new to this machine.

If anybody has any links to other good threads elsewhere on the net or tips to share please post them.

Here's some links posted by Jbow in another thread. Take the time to read all this material because it covers a lot of stuff, including why BBS machines don't need a ground balance and can ID targets deeper than other VLF machines. A lot of good info here...

Think I finally found the message that had me thinking some guy got his 15x12 down to 16 ounces. Glad because that was driving me crazy, but it wasn't a sanded down SEF but rather a homemade 15x12. In either case, it's a great site to read up on homemade coils and other mods for various machines. Here's the thread where this guy is talking about how good his homemade coil is and a little detail on construction and using the preamp...
