sovereign hunting

hi everybody
i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or settings for hunting gold sovereigns stand alone or in metal boxes. whats the reading in digital mode? thanks in advance....

With the amount of gold and size of this coin would imagine would probably come in around a quarter give or take. If in metal boxes probably would get an overload signal. I am surmising who have a tip or know where some may have been buried as doubt if many of these coins have ever been lost, but could be found in a cache I would think. Usually hunting caches the large objects are dug lest you miss the cache...
