Sovereign GT's first silver ring! :jump:

We are having some major surf action this week so I figured I would go to my local beach and continue learning my Sov. This was my third hunt with it and was about to leave due to my bladder singing louder than my t-hold, when a beautiful signal came in and out popped a ring! Sterling silver with a nice (topaz?) stone. My first REAL ring and the first for the GT, I am starting to really love this machine. No meter yet, but am beginning to wonder if I really need it right now. I don't mind digging junk, besides it betters my chances of the good stuff.

Nice!

It's going to be 65 today so I am going to try left handed hunting/digging on a local fresh water beach as I still am not allowed to use the tip of the finger on my right hand that was put back on to pick things up, hold things, etc, or it might rip off or something. :puke: So bored that I have to try left handed. Hoping this week I can find some kind of leather prostesus that I can wear over that finger which will use a splint or something inside it to keep any stress from being put on the tip. That way I can use that hand to do more things.

Congradulations on the nice ring find!!
The other object in the photo is a "capo" for a guitar.
It is used to clamp down on the fretboard to use different tunings.
Just thought I'd pass it on to you in case you didn't know what it was.

Cool "fw", thanks for telling me that, I was wondering what the heck it was
Now that you told me, it makes sense to me.
