Sovereign GT Wireless ??

Does anyone have a recommendation for a set of wireless headphones that will work with the SovereignGT ? Tried kellyco and their "trueblue" wireless headphones and according to them they will not work on the GT nor will several other models that were tried. No reason was given (nor do I beleive they even know) why the wireless technology will not work on the Sovereign GT. Called minelab usa and was unable to get any answers regarding the issue. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

Nothing I have tried works really well for whatever reason with the minelabs. The best was logitech freepulse but even these lost something in the translation and definatly not the same as corded phones.

It's probably really hard to tune out the multiple frequencies. I know my uniprobe sometimes has a small window where it will not interact with the Sovereign or the SE.

I still use it though because it is more sensitive than the S-1 probe.

The sovereign is a machine that really speaks to the user. I am under the opinion that too much will be lost with cordless phones, and anything gained would never compensate for all the nuiances that are lost with cordless phones, Cordles phones will not be a cheap venture and I feel the performance would never be as good as a decent set of corded phones, You may spend money and waste time just to find out that it would have been better to have just purschased some good phones from the get go .........

Thank you very much for the responses. I've suspected the same in regards to the multi- frequency being the culprit. Thanks for the heads up on the logitech too. The type of hunting that I primarily do would most definately be MUCH easier without the cord. If there is a reduction in what my machine is telling me though I'm not sure the "cost" is worthwhile either. I'll hold out in the hope that minelab will see the advantage to going wireless and do some R&D for a product that will work on the GT. Thanks again folks
