Sovereign GT / Whites MXT

shovel full

New member
I'm in the middle of deciding between these two excellent machines Minelab Sovereign GT and Whites MXT. will primary hunting relic and coin/jewlry and Occasionally I will prospect and(fresh water) beach hunt as well. Any information that anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Tough call, two incredibly good units with great coil selections..If you prospect a lot then my choice would be the MXT for sure....For the rest of the applications the GT is a great detector. If I didn't have a GT, at some time I might consider an MXT but my nugget hunting choice is the GP. I am going to give the AM mode on my GT a try this summer in the nugget patches and see how it goes...Hh...Geo

Sov GT no comparison needed. hands down. On the beach its the clear winner, coinshooting too. Get a Patriot meter also. It kicks ass.
