Yes, long since figured out how to mount the meter with a pipe hanger anywhere, even on the grip, and also I took the GT apart and figured out the switch configurations to install a remote PP stereo jack to plug into, as all the old remote PP mods were for prior models with different switch configurations.
Go to the Sovereign forum and look in the accessories sticky for links to threads on all this stuff. Also, if you search for "remote pin point" ALL WORDS 30 DAYS search in that forum you should find a thread where the latest pictorial schematic of the remote PP was posted, along with more "streamlined" "this is how it works" info on it I posted.
If you need any help with understanding that pictorial just ask away, although I tried to make it as detailed as possible so even somebody lacking a multimeter could simply follow the pin outs and wire it all up real easy like. It's an easy mod, and the solder point to the stock switch is fairly open and easy to work around, but just the same if you don't know how to solder far better to have somebody do it.
It's important to not, that although you do cut one wire on the stock disc switch, the stock switches will still work as stock regardless of whether the remote PP is plugged in or not. It's just that when the remote PP is plugged in and thrown a certain way, that it will bypass the disc switch's setting and turn control over to whatever mode you have the All Metal switch on the faceplate set at.
That way you retain full function of stock switches, and also have the ability to set both stock switches to whatever modes you want, and be able to toggle between them both using the remote PP. It's the reason why I wired it up the way it is, and also to avoid any potential conflicts of certain stock settings that might do something the GT was never meant to be able to do, such as create two different mode pathways at the same time. Didn't want to risk the potential of bad things if that could happen, so I did it the way it's done to that risk.
