Sovereign GT and Excal

I've owned a Sovereign XS 2A pro and now have a GT. I can tell the GT is more sensitive and so far I love it. I have heard reports in the past the EXCAL was more sensitive than the former Sovereigns. Can anyone who owns The new GT and a EXCAL tell me if they are about the same as far as depth and sensitivity? I had never used the 8" coil until my GT and I love it. I hunt the wet sand and water's edge. I have a CZ-20 and it's a great machine but I love the tones of the minelab machines...
Thank's
HH TOM
