Sovereign/Excalibur Book Link...

I have decided to share the content of this book with the Minelab Sovereign and Excalibur community. Originally written 18 years ago, much of the information pertains to the earlier models of the Sovereign and Excalibur, but most of it still applies to the latest versions as well. There are some of the accessories that were available back then that are no longer available, and there are new accessories that were long in coming and aren't included in the book. I hope that it will be beneficial to both the new users of these great detectors as well as the old salts that have used them as long, or longer than I. There's nothing fancy about it, nor does it contain a lot of fluff. I hope you enjoy it.

Ring Book

Good hunting...

Otto, excellent information.Your book is a good reminder of how many gold rings have been missed, because hunters don't dig those lower ID or low tone targets.Nice work! Thanks Ron

Thank you Otto.

If I look hard enought I think I can still find my hard copy. (I think that you may have even signed it for me?)

A cool book in it's day. Inspired me to write a Sov book as well. Back then there was just no info to be had either.

I still have this book. I bought this book back in 1989 or 90 right after I started using the Sovereign's at the beaches in California. I still tune my machine the way they tell you too. I laugh when people say "just set you machine to 12 o'clock".

Hello,

Had previously repaired the six pin connector on my sovereign elite.. It broke again and this time I couldn't match the color wire to the connector number..
it has 4 wires. Red,white, black and yellow.. yellow goes to #4.(that's the only one that's still connected). Other forums reference colors not matching mine.. any help would be greatly appreciated,,, thanks Jeff

Jeff, you might want to start a separate post. You'll get more people seeing it and get your answer. Might also want to start one in the modifications forum. Good luck with it.
