Sovereign Did OK for Today's Hunt

I went to a local state park for a hunt with two other hunter's.The other hunters used a DFX and a CZ70.This park was littered with pull tabs 164 readings all over the place. The Sovereign sniffed out two silver coins a 1948 Rosie and 1950 Canadian quarter. The rain was so bad at one point we had to break for breakfast at a local fast food place and swapped war stories, until the storm passed over to continue our search. The user of the CZ70 didn't have a good day in the trash. The DFX user found a Indo China coin drilled for a necklace 20 Centines that was about 300 yards from the two Indo China coins probably on the same necklace I found last week.About a month ago while hunting at a city park I received a cell phone call from my wife. She said Ron the owner of the rescued Great Dane was over to see if we were compatible with the dog.Anyway my last words were lets think about this and rushed home.I was too late the dog lady was leaving and she told Chance the Great Dane meet your dad that darn dog was growling at me as I was putting the metal detector away.

Best laugh:rofl: I have had in days, Thanks for sharing that.
Take him hunting with you, he would make a great body guard.

Don't tell me you found the dog!:stretcher::blink:

Trashy parks are always a fun challenge, and a place where the meter becomes a valuable asset in my opinion. Looks like you had a great day......The dog likes you now right ?? He's a big pup .....Take care, and good luck next trip out...............Adamj

Wipea&Adam I thought the Sovereign worked very well in the trash, which could be a result of the Tornado 800 coil and the 180 meter.Today I found some interesting information about The Raisin Battle Field www.riverraisinbattlefield.org in Monroe Michigan.

So sorry I couldn't get out with you that day as I have father responsibilities every other weekend. Otherwise I'd have been there in a heart beat.

Those are some great finds in your picture.:detecting: I hope that dog isn't eating you outof house and home:surprised:

Tony,I was the only parent of my two son's from when they were 9 & 13 now they are in their early thirties. They do growup too quick, and have to be top priority. There will be lots of other hunts.

Wipea, the dog doesn't,but the horses do I'm on my way out the door to work and have to go down to the barn and throw out a couple bails of hay.

Feel good that you at least get to see your children every other week.....some Dad's don't ever get to ess their children:look:

w6pea,
I also pick her up almost every day after school too which is cool.
During the summer will be the bummer.
But she'll have baseball practice and I can take her to it and pick her up too during the week.

Yea, my twin brother Tim's wife skidaddled with the three kids to Mexico! Talk about sad. That was a couple years ago. She is back now and he gets to see them again. She is a witch in wolves clothing.

W6pea,I've used a lot of metal detectors, and my observation at this point is the Sovereign works extremely well in trash.I'm looking forward for my next hunt. The only weakness with this unit it seem to like batteries but with rechargeable this shouldn't break the bank.I did check your web site out interesting.
