Sovereign Advanced Adjustments

Is there a compilation of advanced adjustments, typically referred to as dealer adjustments, on this site? If not, can you direct me to a site that does have them. I'm looking for an adjustment that will change the pitch of the sound heard for different objects. I'm particularly interested in raising the pitch to a higher note for coins that would be on the upper scale. Almost forgot, I have an original sovereign.

Jim,I think in the original there are a couple of pots one for the threshold and one for the tone pitch. Most experience Sovereign user's have made this tone adjustment.Mark the start point on the pot with a thin marker.I have purchased Sovereigns that was adjusted too high and low and when adjusted too high or low will make the Sovereign very difficult to use. When you adjust the pot go slow,a slight pot turn makes a big difference. One of the best ways is if you have another Sovereign(maybe a friends) make the tone match the same using a quarter and nickle and tune until the same tone is produced.Kind of like tuning a guitar. My guess is the Original is an older unit and could be out of adjustment. From experience using one adjusted too high its very critical on the Sovereign to have the pot tone set near the factory setting. Good Luck Ron
