SOV XS plans to make your own meter?

I bought a meter ( 0 to2vdc) off ebay and mounted it in a box. The signal is 0 to 1.8 vdc. I planed to eventually buy a Minelab meter but I haven't seen the need yet. If you decide to do it be sure and get a black and white display. The other ones can't be seen in daylight.

Go to dedetec.com/meter/metet.htm for information on how to do it.

newer coil wires are not the same color; New color's are as follows

the blue wire is the TID wire and the signal actually comes from the detector
so it is not needed in the coil wire. On the GT it's only there in the wire that go's
from the detector to the meter. The Red + Black wires are the same on the GT
as on all past SOV.s . The white go's to pin 3 and the yellow go's to pin 4

I got this a good while back but did not record who or where it was posted
I started to make me one but ran into problem's with the wiring change
and by the time I found this I had already sent the coil to MINELAB and had
them out the plug back on the wire and went ahead and bought one.
Make sure you are right and go for it.
