Sov GT with inline and meter

Member
I presently have my GT mounted under the handle of a straight shaft that I purchased. I saw a picture where the person had mounted the sovereign meter on top of the inline probe box. I can't make out in the picture just how it was done. Obviously, my probe box will mount on the straight shaft via the "V" clip. Just how does the meter mount on the top of the inline?? Do I need to put another "V" clip on top of the inline box?? Can someone enlighten me??

The S-1 probes for the Elite and the GT have a V clip on top of the control box for the meter, the older one fit under the shaft and had the male clip that slides into the V clip on the lower shaft. If yours sits on top of the shaft then the V clip should be there unless someone took it off.
