Sov GT Auto Sensitivity

New member
Does any know what position on the dial matches the sensitivity to when it's set to auto?

Thanks to all who respond.

There is no location on the sensitivity control that matches auto sensitivity.
Auto sensitivity is continuously variable as determined by the detector internals.......it has no fixed value.

Thanks for the clarification.

im not so sure about that ,but on my machine i seem to get the same in air depth on min, manual as i do on auto,,,increasing the manual sens gets me a stack more distance from the coil,,this should also work in the ground and wet sand,,,i know its deeper in those environments,,but of course in some cases a lot more sparky,,,rgds comcat:ukflag:

Air is a constant condition....no mineral or ground response.
Excluding any noise pickup, the auto will adjust to the same sensitivity point every time.
Put it to the dirt and it will not be the same.
