Souvereign meter.

I was wondering if you get different numbers on your meter if you use a bigger or a smaller coil ??

Thanks,

Andre

Andre, most of the time with a coil change you will have to recalibrate. If you use a 180 adjust a US Quarter to 180 or a 550 meter 550 for a US Quarter. HH Ron

That is the reason for the calibration control as you adjust it to the coil you are using and sometimes in the heat the meter will read a number or 2 higher, so like Ron say just throw down a quarter and adjust the calibration so it read 180 for the 180 meter or 550 for a 550 meter, now the same target will read the same numbers when changing coils.

That's one thing I don't see talked about very often by the Sovereign crowd. The fact that the meter can be calibrated to different coils means you are going to get a more true ID than on all other machines which don't offer this ability.
