Even though this plane has been out since 2007-2008, this is the first time I have seen it. Thought it was such a nice looking plane I couldn't pass up the chance to post it for our Illinois friends.

That is the first I have seen this plane :clapping: Thanks for posting it.

It's beautiful, and I've not seen it either. Great picture of it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have that plane on my simulator, along with a few of their other special planes.
I see they have repainted the tail with the new "hot dog on a stick" paint scheme. The one I have is
still using the old livery tail. I guess I'll need to update them some day..

OK, we've looked and looked at the picture of the plane and can't figure out the "hot dog on a stick". Would you please enlighten me, I'm going crazy trying to figure this one out. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I found out what "Hot dog on a stick" is and means. Now we understand! Yes, the light bulb went on!

Yep.. The striped colors more than anything I guess. The new "hot dog on a stick" livery is the one with the big
Southwest font on the sides of the plane, and no red belly like the older canyon blue planes.
The Illinois One I have on the sim still has the old Canyon Blue tail. Same exact plane, but before the recent
paint tweak on the tail. I'll update it one of these days, and will need to do the other "state" planes with the
same tail. But no big rush for me. I hardly fly any of the state planes..

This is the everyday "hot dog on a stick" livery doing the 19 river visual to Washington National.
A good bit different from the old red belly "canyon blue" livery, which I still fly a good bit until they
are all repainted.

I'll try to get the other ones as they fly through... I normally don't shoot the commercial planes but I'm on a mission now.....
