This great beach hunt is fast approaching. The earlybird entry deadline for receipt of entries is April 29 and enters you into a draw for a gold coin and return of your entry fees. All fees go into the sand. Hunt is May 28 -29 at Fifty Point Conservation Area near Stoney Creek Ontario. Visit the hunt website for further information.

What's the water temperature in Lake Ontario just now? This Canuck doesn't go in the water anymore without a wet suit until the temp is at least 78 degrees F. It looks like a lot of fun in the wet sand.

Lake Ontario is too cold for me even in August. Anyone diving without a suit deserves to find all the treasure.
