Southern Nevada Vacation finds

New member
I went to southern Nevada on vacation a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find a single coin except some clad at the camp ground that we were staying at. I did find a lot of shirt buttons and a couple of interesting buttons, maybe somebody can tell me something about them. In the big picture I found two round what I believe are Perfume buttons or something in that order, with a bird, some flowers, and some writing on them that I can't quite make out, they appear to be made out of Aluminum. Also I found what seems to be a lead army guy a couple of Knifes, brass bell that looks like it went on a horses harness. I found three bullets, the first one on the left is a .38 short, the second one is what I Believe to be a .41 short rim fire, and the third one is what I believe to be is a 50-70 Government which measures just over a 1/2" in diameter and is right around 2.25" in length. I found the baseball pin at the city park in Carlin I believe that it is gold plated.

Thanks for looking
Bill

well I can identify one thing and thats the sleigh bell,, Notice the design around it,, kindo like oblong loops,,, if you look hard enough,, you;ll find a number on it,, I found one similiar to that this past spring,, pretty big sucker too,,, cleaned up real nice with a belt sander nd some brasso,, thats when I found the design on it and the number,, goggle it after you get it cleaned up and you might be able to date it

Congrats on the great finds! I like the two ornate "buttons" with the birds. Very good hunting, Beale.
