South Florida beach coins.

Gary Drayton

New member
Been out with the Sovereign GT and the small tornado coil for a couple of short hunts this week picking up the leftovers on a heavily hunted South Florida beach. Here are a few of the older coins I was able to winkle out from in between the bottle caps.
Several 1952-53 wheat pennies, 1935 buffalo nickel, 1947 quarter, 1947 dime and a 1953 dime.

Nice work between the bottlecaps! Those Corona tops sound like gold, but the Mike's Hard Lemonade ones sound like the junk that they are!

thats amazing you could find that many old coins on the beach, I would have figured it to be totaly cleaned out

That small tornado coil sure does allow one to "sneak" between the junk. Sweet finds on a well beaten beach! - Jim
