South Carolina CTX users

Anyone in the Charleston area using the CTX 3030? I wanted to ask how it does in the soil here? Is it deep and good on coins/relics? I have a beach detector allready but I may venture out with it to see how it fairs. How do you do on the beaches here with the black sand? Thanks in Advance.

Way to many variables to give an accurate quote on depth on any machine. You can walk 50 feet and things can change drastically. Whatever the conditions the 28 freq and fbs2 will be outstanding.

Jason in TN has used his on Myrtle beach with great success. Mine works great in VA and outer banks of NC. I would think the further South you go the milder the ground would be? One thing for sure it is one great machine with almost unlimited potential and adjustments. Add to that the ctx forum and what a combination? Hope others will chime in?

Thanks for the help. we have sandy soil and I am sure it is high mineralization not 100% on that though but whatever the case I think time has shown this machine good enough for me to take the plunge and spend the money on it. Hurry up tax time..

I hunt often in moderately to high mineralized soil with no issues and likewise have hunted mine in myrtle this machine can handle the ground places my se pro went nuts with flasing this is smooth and deep you can tweek it to work where ever you are.
