From a Sov user turned Explorer user I can tell you that its a very different beast. Everything from the tones, iron mask feature, and the visuals. When the sensitivity is turned up it hits on every little sliver of metal and "falses" a lot. Its something that you just have to get used too. I would recommend basic settings at first so you can get used to the tones. Actually, I had the same experience with the sov until I got used to it. Its a lot of time spent.
