Sorry Ralph.....

:surrender:Ralph,
I apologize for jumping to conclusions, regarding your character. It is obvious that everyone here trusts and values your input, and you are a credit to this forum. I am not trying to justify my actions but maybe you might understand the way I feel. I have bought two brand new Garrett machines, both were defective. One was a water machine, that leaked. They both had to be returned. But that is neither here nor there. I would like to say though, that I was not trying to "bait" this forum as was stated below, the qoute I made on the Minelab forum (that is posted below)was done before I had originally emailed Ralph. I hope you and this forum can accept my sincere apology. Sincerely, Aaron (a.k.a Mr XXXXX)

That "frustration factor" gets the best of all of us sometimes, but it's always a constant learning process, whether we've been in the hobby a week, a year, or for several decades. Even though we discuss, cuss, fuss, and argue the machines and different aspects of this hobby, it still revolves around the PEOPLE involved, and that remains the most important part of it all. People tend to make hasty judgements, jump to unwarranted conclusions, and just make mistakes in general.....none of us are immune. Sometimes it's based on personal experiences, misunderstandings, or just differences of opinion. But regardless, it is still just a hobby. We can look at others according to the mistakes they make, or we can look at others according to how they go about resolving those mistakes after they've been made. I prefer to do the later......

THANK YOU ! .....and appology accepted.

Ralph
