and only speaking for myself, I certainly wasn't bashing Heidi or anyone else at the company. Some of the stated results in the test certainly don't match what I'm seeing with the two H.O.T. units I own. So in my mind, I have to make the assumption that there must be some severe unit to unit variation and mine are inferior to the test unit OR there was some sort of flaw in arriving at some of the test results. For example, I've seen air test results similar to those reported with detectors that were cranked to the max BUT the detector was actually sensing the tester's hand movement and not the coin sized object he or she was holding. If a certain detector model can legitimately air test a coin sized metal object at 22 or so inches, I'd be either buying one asap, or upset that the same model that I own doesn't even come close to the same results.
