see post aboveDon't have to work this weekend so u know what that means digging, digging and more digging. Got an early start didn't really have any game plan other than I did want to hunt at a local High School before I quit for the the day. First stop was a sand volleyball court first good target was a junk ring with big glass stone got me excited for about a nano second till I saw it was fake dug a little clad not a bad start for the day. Next stop was a soccer complex right now it has four fields set up but in the spring and fall season I have seen as many 20 kiddie fields so this place sees lots of action I dug clad here till about noon at one point during my hunt at the soccer fields I hit a different signal and the DeLeon made a sound I was not used to so I just had to check it out and found my first gold chain! I pulled it out of the ground it was about 10" long so I rechecked the hole and sure enough there was more about another 6" or so thats one I can scratch off the list. I was getting hot and tired so I figured it was time to head to the High School there is lots of shade there and in the past I have pulled 7 or 8 rings out of here with half of them gold. First thing on the agenda when I got there was lunch after a quick bite it was back to work the D was getting restless I turned on the Deleon and what? the very first target was a small gold ring! That was a first for me I can't recall ever digging the first target at a site and it be a ring. I was hoping that there were more to be had since that one was so easy but no such luck I hunted here till about 2:00 and called it a day. The DeLeon with the cleansweep coil did answer any questions I had about its ability to find small gold as it had already proved itself with the big gold earlier in the week, the cleansweep on the DeLeon is an awesome combo! Anyway here's the goods from today
