Well it was dug at a Civil War site....does that count <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":("> Well actually the Rairoad I'm hunting next too was also period so.....I guess what I'm really looking for here is a date or a place to get imfo.....anybody?????

Probably late 1800's or early 1900's. The Atlantic Coast Line officially dates from 1889, although the name supposedly was used by several railroads in the 1870's. It was involved in a number of mergers through the years and eventually became part of the Seaboard Coast Line in 1968.
ACLR silver can bring anywhere from $5-10 for a teaspoon, on up to $150-200 for some of the larger pieces. To find dealers and collectors, do a search on "Railroad Silver" at the link below.
