Dave, those Mavica's are famous for close-ups. Great looking photo and thanks for sharing. HS (happy shootin')

Dave you have a great image. One suggestion to try. The only detail missing is the bottom of the bottle. I would suggest a light box (type used in viewing slides).
Place the setup exactly as you did, but on top of the light box and substitute a slightly transparent paper. I would think the image would explode in detail. You could put a dimmer on the light box and experiment with intensity. The neat thing about digital is you can try anything you want without the long wait for film.

Good suggestion. I took this kinda quickly without too much thought but you're right, it needs light from the bottom. Thanks. -Dave
