Sometimes your eyes are a better detector

Walking down the street in Bellflower,Ca. and saw something out of the corner of my eye in the street. Found this.

Apparently they made these in the 80s as a set. Sterling silver. Really dont know how I saw it from 10 feet away, but something caught my eye and I walked over to look at it. What a surprise.
 
Good eye Bill, that sure is a little sucker. The reverse lower right looked like it was wrapped in foil like the gold coins I played with (ate) when I was a kid. :biggrin: The thread count should have been a hint to it's size if I was paying attention.
 
Your close up shows the threads of the fabric, you were either using burlap or it was really magnified.... as it was. A common thread count for fabrics about 200 threads per inch.
 
Larry, I cant see fabric in the picture, I do see a pattern though, I can understand how it might be taken as fabric. The picture was taken on the vinyl cover of my Nook.
