Sometimes Digging Is Just Plain Fun!

Went to a school/playground area after lunch with one of my neighbors. I dug 4 quarters, 2 dimes, 9 nickels, and 42 pennies. Of the pennies, 24 were in one hole! No silver but the oldest coin was a '61. My neighbor dug about what I did and we both had a good time.

Don't know about it being a world record but I've not found that many coins in one hole before. Last year I found eight quarters in one hole and I thought that was pretty good.

Love the holes with many coins!

CORRECTION! I decided to take a closer look at the coins I realized the oldest coin wasn't a '61 but a 1948 nickle. I know many of you guys find things a lot older but that's pretty good for me. It's getting harder to find really old coins.
