Something to think about when detecting after a rough winter

Many tree lawns and front yards will be splashed with salt water from all the salt spread on roads..

We northerners have learned this does affect our detectors until some heavy spring rains washes it away, or dilutes it into the ground. This makes your detector go a little crazy when you get a thaw and are able to go out detecting... You guys in the south might not know this .. I know you got some snow, and I expect some salted roadways near where you detect.. Keep it in mind about it causing some crazy readings and instability when you detect..
