Something to do when it's minus 13 degrees outside

Bring the little familly to a small town not too far away from home and enjoy their local Santa Clauss parade ! It's not a big town and so is the budget for the parade. But who cares! The big city for whom i'm working had to cancell their parade this year... contract problems etc... So the smaller, the simpler and more relaxing. Usually i'm in charge of all security at those parades and i'm stuck in the command post, so i only have a few glimps of the parades... this time i was right there enjoying the ambiance!

Thanks for sharing this, I wish I could have been there. I was a grown man the first time I ever saw a White Christmas. I think cold weather and snow make this time of year really special. Of course I live in a climate that doesn't have that so when I get to see it the child in me comes out. Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Glad you got to enjoy it with the family, its always nice to be somewhere you don't have to think about work once in awhile.
