Something I noticed about salt elimination mode, and my GTAx-1250

Hello, I have a question for all you Garrett pro's out there. I went to the beach yesterday and was going back and forth between all metal, and relic mode. i wanted to confirm small iron targets. Anyway at one point near the wet sand i put the 1250, in salt elimination mode. It was then that I noticed while glancing at the LCD that when I switched into all metal mode from relic mode or vis versa. The disc setting in all metal stayed the same as in relic? plus i could not use the + and - pads to accept beyond a disc of relic in all metal? the cursor would not physically move it to the far left of the upper LCD. However as soon as I shut off salt elimination, all metal disc returned to actual all metal and did not duplicate the relic preset disc.
Any help to this would be much appreciated

When you enter Salt Elimination it changes the filters which may have something to do with it.
