Something I have noticed - -

on this forum and others. And that is very few people seem to be actually detecting and reporting back to others what they are digging. It's like the dead of winter has set in for most already. And like the post down a ways = how are the new people to see & learn if no one's digging ? Steve in so az

This afternoon I went out for about three hours. For about 45 min.s I used a CZ20 with a 10 inch coil to see how it would do in a worked out site that has heavy iron. I wanted to see if I could get down to some deep coins I know only it can see and only found some shallow clad.

I then changed over to an Edge w/ the small coil to pick through the iron and found some relically stuff but no great shakes coinwise. So first is there anything worth posting, not really. Next which forum, two are classroom type forums and then this general catch all Fisher forum. Therefore I'm ambivalent about posting today's finds and others may have similar reasons.

If someone has a specific question they can always ask.

I've moved back home to Tulsa, OK. I haven't had time to go hunting in weeks. Hopefully, once we get settled, and things calm down a bit, I'll be able to go swinging. Then I'll post some stuff, probably over on the CZ forum, as that's where I usually post, unless I get some goodies in the water, then I post over on the Surf and Beach forum.

BTW, once I do get settled, I'll be changing my handle back to AllenOK.

Barnacle Bill... I think your recent post on "Detector coils are loop antennas" most informative. I am serious about using a "gold machine" both for nugget shooting and detecting saltwater beaches. It is information such as this is most welcome. Please keep up the great job. I like your comment about the "Circus act." Maybe, the post
could be reposted for those that missed it ?...
