Something I found out with the F5 is...........

In the disc mode there is no threshold hum no matter how high you run it. But you do get a threshold hum when running in the all metal mode.
Has anyone else noticed that ?
 
The F5 is 'silent search' which means you will not hear a threshold tone in Discriminate mode of operation.
