Went out for a short hunt tonight at an early home site (1877 platt). Just received a new toy for Valentines day, a M9 coil for the Manticore. Tonight was actually my second outing with the M9, I wanted to see if I could replicate my 1st very successful hunt, and it did not disappoint. Both sites have been pounded by me for years with basically no significant finds as of late. Tonight produced a dozen nonferrous targets in about an hour of hunting, pretty much the same results as the first. Most finds came from the heavy iron infested part of the sites. No adjustments were made to the machine, I would say my sweep speed was a bit slower.
I am not selling anything here, but I am seeing a significant improvement in finds and the machine is functioning rather well.
There were 2 square nails in the hole with the shield Nickle that was about 6 inches deep.

The manticore with the M9 coil is great combo. I made some good finds with mine in heavily hunted parks. Congrats on shield nickel

Man I want a M9 ($230) but I need a new AV receiver ($500+). I need to sell some detectors or coils first though.
