hunting around the old town that i live in here in michiga the other night, went behind the old hardware store and found this.
Didn't know what it was at first, but after soaking for a couple days it cleaned up pretty decent.
Also found a 1909 indian head penny last night that i have soaking, its not in bad condition.
I will post a picture of that when it gets cleaned up better. doesn't look like it has the S mint mark.....bummer
 
guess you can't read the writing so well in the picture.
It says hayes body corporation on the front, and whitehead hoag on the back....Mike
