Something a little strange at Yellow Beach

Dancer

Well-known member
Been hunting a party boat tie off a few times this summer. Loaded with tabs, small pieces of boat gear, etc. Have managed to scoop up.a gold ring and 2silvers. But here's the strange part. About 90% of the pull tabs are the old beaver tails. Now how is that ? I believe it's because.of a different type of people boating than in the past. These boaters mostly don't get all gooned up, and trash everything up as say some I've seen in the past. Not saying their all Angles. So every time it's hunted, the tabs are being played out. Today, 11 tabs, 7 coins, 4 old beer caps. Some scrap iron, etc. Couldn't get in the best areas, boats came in early. Not breaking any records here, but there are rumors of a few nice rings lost in there.
One scoop at a time.

Still find those old tabs once in a while, usually a deep dig or after storms like we are having now, and not nearly as pretty!!.....that must be fresh water?
We have a few of those boat tie up/sandbar areas....trashy, but like yours, you know there has to be something there considering the amount of partying that goes on. Keep at it, GL.
