Had the Ace 250 out today, and dragged up 107 coins. Trouble is 79 of em were pennys. Someone had to Cherry pick this park and did it quite well. This was the first time my Ace busted the 100 mark. I will say this, if it holds steady on the nickle- it's almost always there. I like that.

Wait till you run into a coin toss area around a school. I ran into one some time ago and gave up after popping nearly 200 pennies.

You can usually tell the difference between someone who has cherry-picked an area using notch discrimination vs. standard progressive discrimination by the nickel count. If they are using standard progressive discrimination, the nickels are usually still there to be found. If they are notching just the zinc/screwcap range, they will usually pick up the nickel range and you won't find nickels, coppers, dimes, or quarters.....just zincs. That's one way to scope out the local competition.
